Associate Project Director

Terresa Humphries-Wadsworth (she/her), PhD, serves as an associate project director of the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance), the nation’s public-private partnership for suicide prevention. In this role, she is responsible for providing programmatic and project management support to Action Alliance initiatives, specifically in health care organizations through a partnership with Universal Health Services. In addition, she is responsible for cultivating national partnerships with diverse audiences like large private sector employers, news media, public safety, and the entertainment industry. She is a licensed psychologist who obtained her PhD from Texas A&M University. 

Dr. Humphries-Wadsworth also serves as an associate project director with the Suicide Prevention Resource Center. She currently provides technical assistance, consultation, and support focused on suicide prevention among service members, veterans, and their families. She has served as the infrastructure specialist on the State Infrastructure project, as the content lead on the Lived Experience for Organizations project, and co-lead on a project focused on financing suicide care. Previously, Dr. Humphries-Wadsworth served as the contracted state suicide prevention coordinator in Wyoming. Dr. Humphries-Wadsworth lives in (and telecommutes from) Cody, Wyoming – just outside Yellowstone National Park
