Eleanor Dong
Eleanor Dong is a Research Associate with Education Development Center (EDC). Dong assists with the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention communications management and messaging. n this role, she serves as the day-to-day liaison of the Messaging Work Group (MWG) partner portal, which brings influential communication leads from Action Alliance national partners to develop coordinated and consistent messages about suicide prevention. She manages and maintains MWG member contact lists, builds engagement with members, and creates progress reports. She also assists with Action Alliance social media content creation and metrics tracking.
Dong has worked with various organizations in education and mental and behavioral health with diverse populations such as youth, school districts, and staff, parents, and state government. She has 5 years of evaluation and research experience and experience developing 6+ programs and curricula for children, youth, parents, and state health departments in areas such as SEL, mental health, HIV, and parenting. She was formerly an after-school psychology and math teacher. She holds a Project Management for Development Professionals certificate and is fluent in English and Chinese.
