Lauren (Jones) Forbes is the Partnerships Systems Associate for the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention. In this role, Forbes supports the Action Alliance by managing and optimizing partnership databases, ensuring seamless integration with related systems, and promoting operational efficiency. She maintains organized, up-to-date records and fosters impactful collaborations across private and public sectors. She also plays a vital role in facilitating high-profile partner convenings and ensuring the effective use of CRM tools and project management systems. 

Prior to the Action Alliance, Forbes received her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Boston University and is a Licensed Certified Social Worker in Massachusetts. She has previously worked as a Mental Health Clinician for a community violence intervention program, providing behavioral health support to Boston residents. This experience compelled her to utilize her background outside of the clinical realm and focus on the contributions she can make to mental health and wellbeing from a macro focus. Forbes’s experience includes work within healthcare, early education, and nonprofit industries.

She is passionate about promoting self-care and wellbeing, solo traveling, romance novels, and discovering the latest adventures in and around the city of Boston.
