Clinical Workforce Preparedness Task Force
The task force led Action Alliance efforts to ensure that health care professionals are appropriately trained in suicide prevention and care for suicide risk. Areas of focus included.
- Development of Suicide Prevention and the Clinical Workforce: Guidelines for Training, issued in 2014
- Securing support and engagement from key stakeholders
- Supporting the adaptation of the guidelines by individual disciplines, educational institutions, and licensing bodies
This work is now led by the Transforming Health Systems Implementation Group.
