Service Members, Veterans, and their Families Advisory Group

Formed in 2020, this advisory group provides strategic direction in order to systematically integrate service members, veterans, and their family members’ perspectives across the Action Alliance’s portfolio of work. The advisory group:

  • Provides subject matter expertise
  • Serves as a collective voice to on behalf of the Action Alliance on matters related to service member and veteran suicide prevention
  • Provides consultation to internal audiences on integrating service member and veteran perspectives into Action Alliance strategies
  • Keeps the Action Alliance updated on new and emerging efforts and opportunities in fields related to service member and veteran suicide prevention
  • Identifies opportunities to amplify and coordinate existing efforts in the field
