Nana Owusu serves as the Assistant Director of Partnerships for the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention at Education Development Center (EDC). In this role, she leads the implementation of the Action Alliance's partnership engagement strategy, supporting coordination across more than 200 partner organizations. She provides strategic and operational leadership for the initiative's three-year strategic plan and oversees processes that track and report progress on the Action Alliance's national priority initiatives. She also manages the operational infrastructure that supports the Action Alliance's leadership and governance structures, including the Executive Committee, Co-Chairs, and Steering Committee. 

Owusu brings over nine years of experience in operations and project management. Prior to her current role, she served as the Partnership Manager for the Action Alliance, where she managed partnership engagement strategy and oversaw the development of procedures, engagement initiatives, and workflow processes to support collaboration across the initiative's network, including the Executive Committee and advisory groups. She previously served as the Action Alliance Partnership Operations Project Coordinator, where she strengthened operational processes to support partner engagement and national suicide prevention efforts. 

Before joining EDC, Owusu worked as the Social Media and Content Strategy Manager at The Afropole and as a Program Operations Coordinator and Student Liaison at English Language School Educational Services, supporting programming, events, and cross-cultural initiatives. 

Always a knowledge enthusiast, Owusu holds a BA in International Relations and Global Affairs, Political Science, and Spanish from Eckerd College. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) through the Project Management Institute and holds additional certifications in Strategic Management (Copenhagen Business School), International Women's Health and Human Rights (Stanford University), and Social Media Marketing (HubSpot Academy).
