Theresa Murray (she/her) is the Director of Communications for the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention, housed at Education Development Center (EDC).

She is a highly skilled strategic communications leader with over 15 years of experience in multi-channel marketing, media relations, management, and fundraising. She also brings extensive expertise in publication development and content creation.

Before joining EDC, Murray was an Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications for Student Affairs at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Prior to that, she led communications and marketing at SEEDS – Access Changes Everything, an educational nonprofit where she headed up digital marketing—social media, e-newsletters, publication development (e.g., Annual Report)—and contributed to the success of high-priority activities, fundraising events, and development projects.

Murray began her career as a senior account executive at Gregory FCA, a national public relations firm, where she managed media relations for clients in the life sciences, technology, venture capital, human resources, staffing, and aviation.

She holds a BA in Communications from Villanova University.
