Farah Kauffman, MPH
Ms. Farah Kauffman currently serves as operations manager for the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) Secretariat. In this role, Kauffman is responsible for organizational strategies, protocols, and policies that support and advance the Action Alliance’s infrastructure. She also provides technical assistance to Action Alliance partners and facilitates the work of multiple Action Alliance task forces that address health systems transformation, suicide-related data and surveillance, and military and veteran populations.
She has over ten years of experience in public health. Prior to joining the Action Alliance Secretariat, Kauffman led and facilitated public health programs in mental health, substance misuse prevention, and obesity prevention. She received her undergraduate degree in history from The Pennsylvania State University, her master's degree in public health from Boston University, and is currently enrolled in a doctor of public health degree program with a focus on social marketing and suicide prevention through the University of South Florida College of Public Health.
